Borinquen (“the app”) is a bilingual guide to Puerto Rico. This policy explains what information the app collects and how it is used. We keep it simple: we collect only what the app needs to work, we don’t show ads, and we don’t track you.
Solely to provide the app: to authenticate your account, deliver encyclopedia content, and generate AI trip plans at your request. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
We rely on a few trusted services to run the app:
These providers process data only to perform their function for the app.
Your account data is kept while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (your reviews and photos) at any time directly in the app: open the app, scroll to the bottom of the home screen and tap Delete Account, then confirm. This immediately and permanently removes your account and its data from our servers and cannot be undone. If you have any trouble, you can also contact us at the email below. Your locally-stored itinerary can be removed at any time by deleting it in the app or deleting the app.
Borinquen is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date above will change accordingly.
